Honey Bee Farms is a distributor of hand-baled pine straw.  We offer two kinds of fresh, cleanly raked pine straw: Longleaf and Slash.  Longleaf (12-16” needles) is premium pine straw because it spreads thick and the color lasts longer than other pine straw.  Longleaf pine straw covers approximately 40 ft². Slash pine straw (8-10” needles) is the standard pine straw for our area (South Alabama), and it is the pine straw that is sold at most box stores and nurseries.  Slash pine straw covers approximately 35 ft².   Bales weigh 20 lbs. and have the following dimensions: 28” x 15” x 12”. Pine straw can be picked up, delivered, mail-ordered, or we can also deliver a 57-foot semi-trailer for nursery customers.
